Hammer must be a minimum of 8lbs and blunt on all ends. No wedges, axes, or speared handles.

Must finish with a hammer to be considered a qualifier. 



Sportsmanship should be revered over winning. If you win, nobody will like you if you’re a jerk.

If you lose your hammer at any point to another racer or volunteer, you must convince another racer to give you his/her hammer if you want to finish as a qualifier.

Hammer must be carried without the aid of a sling, backpack, belt, etc during the race. You can have slings, backpacks, belts, etc for transport and travel while not engaged in the actual race, but throughout the course during your race time, they are not allowed.
